Whether you're polishing a manuscript or preparing for your next big step, this track is designed to provide the guidance and support you need to elevate your writing career.

Get your creativity flowing with sprints and challenges! Whether you're writing as many words as you can in 20 minutes or tackling a specific challenge, the Drafting Room is the perfect space for motivation & momentum.

As a Fellow, you’ll get the unique opportunity to showcase your work on the Burgeon website, allowing you to share your writing, connect with potential readers, and build your community. Plus, you can link back to your website or social media, helping you build your online presence!

  • The Fellow track provides everything in all other tracks plus exclusive opportunities like Peer Groups, Critique Group Sessions, Service Discounts, Priority Access to Programs and Coaching, and the Project Showcase. This track is designed for writers who want to polish their work, receive advanced feedback, and showcase their projects to move toward publication.

  • Your Peer Group is designed to connect you with a small group of writers who are at a similar stage in their journey. These groups are community-led, meaning the experience is what you and your peers make of it. You’ll have the opportunity to:

    • Meet regularly (at your group’s discretion): Share progress, exchange feedback, and hold each other accountable for your goals.

    • Collaborate and grow together: Utilize each other’s expertise and perspectives to deepen your craft and build professional relationships.

    • Create a supportive environment: Lean on your group for motivation, encouragement, and shared learning.

    Participation is entirely optional, so if you prefer to focus on other aspects of the track, you’re welcome to opt out at any time. However, actively engaging in your Peer Group can be an incredibly valuable part of your writing journey!

  • In addition to the group coaching sessions, you’ll also have the opportunity to participate in critique groups. You’ll receive constructive feedback tailored to help you refine your writing. These sessions are designed to highlight strengths, identify areas for growth, and provide actionable suggestions. Critiquing others’ work is so valuable—it sharpens your revision skills and offers fresh perspectives to apply to your own writing!

    Participation is optional, but these groups are a key opportunity for growth, connection, and professional development.

  • Yes! Whether you write fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or anything in between, the resources and workshops are designed to be flexible and applicable to a wide range of writing styles and goals.

  • As a Fellow, you get the chance to showcase your work on the Burgeon website, whether it’s a finished manuscript, work-in-progress, or a query-ready project.

    You can submit up to a 500 word snippet of your project to be featured on the Burgeon website. This is an opportunity to share your writing with a larger audience and link back to your own site or social media for further visibility.

    The showcase is exclusive to active Fellow members.

  • The Fellow track is ideal for writers who are serious about their professional growth, want a deeper level of feedback and support, and are ready to showcase their work publicly. If you’re looking for advanced feedback, professional opportunities, and a community to help you push your writing to the next level, this track is for you.

  • No worries! The Residency is designed to be flexible. You can pick up where you left off or take breaks as needed. Your membership will continue unless canceled.

  • Due to my limited availability, I prioritize providing our community members with first access to editing, coaching, and website or branding support, ensuring they receive the guidance and resources they need.

  • I’m deeply committed to ensuring our community members have access to the support they need. While we rarely offer discounts outside of our community programs, Fellows receive 15% off all editing, coaching, and design projects I take on.

  • Due to the nature of our subscription service, all memberships are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel your subscription, please do so before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the following month. Cancellations will be effective immediately, and access to the membership will continue until the end of the current billing period. If you have any questions about billing or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out
